Visit Blackpool and see the many attractions, bars, shops and restaurants the town has to offer. The town is famous for the Blackpool Tower, and its legendary Tower Ballroom and the Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Sports fans can watch live football and rugby in the town's many local pubs or when playing at home can visit Blackpool Football Club, located on Bloomfield Road which is a short walk from the town centre.

Blackpool town centre has over 500 shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes, activity and entertainment venues to visit. The shops here sell everything from clothes to electrical goods, toys to cosmetics, plus you're never far away from a fish and chip shop. Houndshill Shopping Centre is the main destination for shoppers, with over 65 major high street brands and food hall, why not view the latest offers here. Blackpool has approximately 18 million visitors a year, making it the most visited seaside resort in the UK. Huge events people visit for include, the Big Switch On for the Blackpool illuminations in the autumn, and the Blackpool Air Show in the summer.

Other nearby areas to Blackpool include the coastal towns of Fleetwood, Thornton-Cleveleys and Lytham St. Annes, and the nearest city is Preston, which can be reached by train, from any of Blackpool’s three train stations. Plenty of public transport can also be found in Blackpool, with numerous buses, and the famous trams.
