We were the first high street brand designed for plus size women, when we were founded in 1930. We still hold true to our founding belief of celebrating women and how truly remarkable you all are, even though a lot has changed since the thirties.
For example, our Pear Fit jeans are cut narrower on the waist and wider on the hips. On the other hand, our Busty Fit tops are fuller on the bust. To define and flatter our customer's shape, each element has been carefully thought through.
We work with the newest graduate designers to challenge attitudes towards plus size fashion, because we believe fashion is for everyone. Our annual Cut for Evans programme gives selected graduates the opportunity to create an exclusive capsule collection for us. This also gives us the chance to push the newest crop of talent to create bold, beautiful and cutting-edge plus size clothes. We collaborated with London College of Fashion, UAL textile students and launched #IamUnique in 2017. These students personalised Evans garments by using their illustration, embroidery, beading and print skills.
