Mayers is steeped in local history and is arguably the longest standing stall on the market today. Established in 1925, it has continuously sold fish in Blackburn ever since.

Run by Wayne Farrimond and owned by Midland Fish Company from Fleetwood. We stock the finest Scottish salmon, Faroe Bank halibut, Isle of Man kippers and sashimi tuna. We also stock pheasants and duck breast.

With professional fishmongers on hand to help you select, prepare and give advice on the largest range in town.

Whatever your taste or requirements they always have an expert on hand to ensure that you get exactly what you want and how you want it. They proudly claim that you can’t find fresher fish unless you caught it yourself.

They now offer a complete “Boat to Plate” package, but for their dedicated customers nothing has changed since way back at the start of the 20thCentury.
