Lancashire country pub re-opens following £250,000 transformation

A Lancashire pub has re-opened following a £250K transformation. The Birley Arms, located in the heart of Warton, not far from British Aerospace, has reopened following a £250K investment by independent pub company Punch Pubs and Co, with publicans Tony Davies and Zoe Shelmerdine at the helm. The investment has breathed new life into the country pub, enhancing its original charm and character that local residents know and love. Mr Davies said: "Welcoming locals back to the pub to see the transformation has been fantastic. "After a difficult year, it's been great to see the community come back together and enjoy their new look pub. "We're really excited for the future, and we can't wait for many great years to come at the Birley Arms."
