About Bamber Bridge

Visit Bamber Bridge and find a selection of shops, cafes, bars and more. The village is on the outskirts of Preston, and is a popular residential area, with the village having its own library, football club, and plenty of pubs, meaning there's something for everyone.

In the village centre, there is a range of shops, including a supermarket, where locals and visitors alike can shop for clothing, food, gadgets and more. The main shopping area, Station Road, is a popular place for locals to do their daily shopping, whilst also being quieter than the bustling city of nearby Preston.

Football fans can see local team Bamber Bridge FC play their games at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium, which is a very short distance from the village centre. Other sports fans can also watch the latest sporting events in one of the numerous local pubs in the area, to watch sport and enjoy a refreshing drink.

Bamber Bridge is also home to a local farmers market, which takes place every 4th Sunday of the month, and offers a wide range of fresh produce from local farmers and workers.

The local train station provides quick travel to the nearby city of Preston, and the bus services in the area help locals and visitors travel to the nearby Blackburn, Chorley and Leyland.
