Saturday Night Fever
Saturday Night Fever will embark on a UK tour this summer. Over 40 years since the classic film was released in cinemas, and 20 years since the show’s original London production.
Featuring the music of the Bee Gees as well as a number of ’70s favourites.
The piece tells the story of Tony Manero as he recklessly dances his way to success.
This new production will have new choreography and more music, with casting for the piece to be announced.
The musical is based on the film of the same name which was released in 1977 and featured John Travolta in the lead, who was later nominated for an Academy Award for his performance.
The musical originally debuted at the London Palladium in 1998 with Adam Garcia in the lead where it was nominated for three Tony Awards, before running on Broadway in 2000. Most recently the show toured in 2014.
